How to create segments in a ellipse wall?

I'm trying to figure out how to create vertical wall grooves/channels. I've already tried the Curtain System, but I start wondering if that's the proper way.

I've attached some images, the first one is the project which I'm trying to create grooves in the wall. The other two are examples of what I'm trying to do.

Why not use just use 2D Model hatch pattern -- and image for rendering.

...if you must model it, you can use Wall Reveals.

Hidden and Consistent Colors (graphic surface pattern):

Realistic (photorealistic appearance image):

BTW: Your "Project.png" is a Mass; right? You are going to apply a Wall by Face; right?

My project is a Mass. How do I add space between the lines? That's where it must be LED strip lights, or something similar to that.

Thanks for your attention, Barth.

What are you building from this mass?  Walls?  If you want to model the grooves, don't do it in the mass -- do it in the Project using the method I described above.  Vertical Wall Reveals. Lot of work though modeling all of those grooves. I'd strongly suggest hatching.
