How to create custom balustrades and handrails?

I am trying to recreate this stair balustrade and handrail combination in revit. (see the images attached)

In particular how it curves and attaches to the stair and how the handrail is attached.

How would I achieve this?

You should be able to get there using a custom baluster with edited toprail...

Something like this?

@Mohamed-Nassar Nice addition, worth watching. Actually I also did use one trick there which is not as easy to reconstruct from the example which is to go into sketch edit mode and set it to flat with customize height... another to tab select the top rail and edit it, the baluster family is relatively straight-forward I think.

Don't know what it needs to be at the top tbh, anyway you could always use multiple railings i.e.

@martijn_pater can you tell me why the top rail is much higher than the setting(900mm)?

Thanks very much.

It does not follow the host stair because of the edited railing sketch (which is set to flat with custom height).

@martijn_pater It took me an hour trying to find it in the Edit Rail. This can be useful.

Thank you again. 🙂
