How to create a railing and handrails with slope in Revit?

Hello all,

I want to create a railing with slope as you will see in the image below.

I edit the family of thr baluster but I dont know how can I give the same slope to the handrails.

Also I want the railing to start lower.

Do you how any solution how I can do these?

Thank you in advance!

Revit railings are vertical , so I suggest you create a family using line-based family template.

I created a line based family railing so you can see how it works. Its attached. Load it, go to architecture tab/ component, draw the railing, set the angle etc...

..... hi @mairh_tsek

.... keeping your own railing family

.... to get to that inclination

..... go to your railing

.... and offset each and every of those components

.... you will get the result you are looking for

.... if you can upload the railing you are using we can fix it

Hello,

Thank you for your time!

The offset for the rails works fine but how can I give also an offset to the Top Rail? (Image 1)

Also how I can give a bigger space between the end post and cornet post? I tried many times to change the equivalent number but nothing happens. (Image 2)

Find in the attachment the Railing.

Thank you!

... go to East view

.... click on the railing (turn that blue)

... click edit type

....go to top rail and click on rectangular 50*50

... it will open another dialog

... there in construction hand clearance

... change the value from -25 to 175
