Hey!

I would like to see how much volume of material is in the walls, floors and beams... (maybe without having to make my own calculations!)

Is there a way I can do this in revit?  If so, could someone explain to me in begginer (ish) terms please :))

If you click your element, you should see 'Volume' in the Properties.

With this, you can create a schedule (Multi-category) and apply 'Volume' as a field!

use a Material Takeoff Schedule : View >Schedules>Material Takeoff - if you want to have all then use Multi Category

Thanks very much for this!

Unfortunately though, in the list of scedule properties I am missing the option for volume...

Do you know why, or how to get it?

Create a Material Takeoff schedule then add [Material: Volume] field.

Thanks Toan :)))

And nowww,,, I have a long list with Category and material:volume....

Is there a way I could see how many of these I have... or a way to include TOTAL volume of this category part?  (something like this??)

at the end i want to know how many m3 of columns, beams and flooring we are using

Thanks!

Play with Sorting/ Grouping, untick Itemize every instance box, and set the Material: Volume field to Calculate Totals.
