How to constrain a panel to adaptive points?

Hello, 

 

This seems like a rather simple item but I can't figure it out.  I am trying to restrain a 4 point panel with a thickness of 100mm. I am using the reference plane of reference points to draw 4 lines and then create a solid form them.  I then lock the face of the panel to the reference plane. 

When I apply the family the panel starts to rotate.  The surface of mass is tilting in different directions.  Please see images. How else should I constrain the panel so it doesn't start rotating around?

In the pattern-based panel family, make this test: select the blue grid and look at its properties. It's default size is 10 x 10 feet. Change that to something else, such as 4' x 3'. What do you see? Do your geometry stay put with the grid or not? If not? you're not modeling this correctly.

 

To create a panel: select the four reference lines that connect the four adaptive points. Then do Create Form, and give the new form a thickness. That is all you need for a simple panel.

 

If you need something on the sides (looks like you have some edges there), put a reference point (by face) on a reference line. Then using Set, set a plane of that point as the new workplane (the plane that is perpendicular to the line). Then draw on that plane the section profile of the shape that you need to extrude. Then select that shape, make it not visible, then select the shape and the reference line, and do  Create Form. Do the same on the other edges if necessary.
