how to combine two rooms as one to have same color scheme and tage also for calculation? Please see the pic

You cannot combine rooms in the sense of having a vertical L shaped room volume...

 

You need to work with Space instead of Room ...You can place Spaces from the Analyze Menu tab (Those you use for calculation,  not the Rooms)...and you have to split them using space separator

 

Room 2 = Double height

Room 1 - the remainder of the area (use a space separator at the edge of the slab)

- Set Room computations to Areas and Volume

- Go to the upper level plan view to place the room

- Go to the section and drag the bottom grip of the room down to the lower level
