How to change the view type text for the lables

Hello Everyone,

I want to customize my view title. I want to replace the view name with a view type label. But I also want to change the view type text. For example, Revit uses "Building Section" for section views, and I want to use a simple "Section." Is there any way to redefine the texts for the view types?

Best,

Why can't you just create and use new Family Types? You can change the Label Font and Label position in the new Family Types.  That not work?

You can just duplicate any view type and make a new type. This is a big help in organization and even assigning view templates. Floor Plan, Code Plan, Enlarged Plan, Stair plan. Building Wall exterior detail etc.

We don't include these in our view titles but certainly could as we have a dozen view types. Many projects we add new types for details and sections as we need just to keep them organized.

This is supposed to show View Name though.

But if you want to show View Type, then open the view, Edit Type and rename the type from Building Section to Section. Still, it is a odd way to show a view title

I'm wondering if your question is more about how to use the new marker in the Project. That is a configuration process done through Additional Settings=>Annotations.

Am I getting warmer?
