Hello everybody,
as the title suggests I need to change the "Phase of Creation" parameter to a Generic Model within a Curtain Wall Panel family. The "Phase of creation" of the facade and that of the curtain wall panel has changed, but that of the generic model has not. it's possible to do it? if yes how?
A thousand thanks!

Unfortunately you can't change the phase of individual components of a curtain wall, only the entire curtain wall. The simplest way to account for this is to edit the profile of the main wall, and cut out the bit that has different phasing. Place another curtain wall there and adjust its phasing.
Trust me, I feel your pain on this.
Thanks for the reply.
However, I would like to change the phase of both the facade and the component at the same time. I would like both the facade and the panel and the generic model inside to have the same phase, not different phases. Isn't that possible either?
A thousand thanks!
Oh, I thought you were saying the generic model needed to be different. I guess I misinterpreted that. This is possible. You just need to select the whole curtain wall system rather than individual components.
Yes that's exactly what I did, but the phase of the generic model hasn't changed, only that of the curtain wall and curtain wall panel has changed, while those of the generic element have remained the same. If I select the generic model individually to change its phase, it displays the parameter in "gray", which means that the parameter is read-only. Here I go back to the original question: how can I if possible change the phase if the parameter is read-only? I also tried with a Dynamo script but I get the error that I can't change the parameter because it's read-only.
So let me clarify what you are saying.
Is the generic model a part of the curtain wall or not?
If it is a part of the curtain wall, does it have the same phasing as the rest of the curtain wall? If it does not have the same phasing, then it is either not actually a part of the wall or something I'm unfamiliar with is happening.
