How to change the colour of generic roof from green to other?

Hi All,

Good morning,

Can anyone help me with generic Roof. I Want to change the colour of generic roof (from green)  to any other colour. As their is no material in generic but still it is green. HOW? & WHY?

If there is no material assigned to the roof layer then it takes the material from Object styles.  Look at it and edit that material's Graphics tab (shading) and Appearance tab (realistic and rendering)

Great answer, the thing I wonder is why was the default ever set to Green? : )

The OOTB default roof material is blueish grey. If yours is green then someone may have changed it.

... or you can change the material of the roof to get the color that you want with the properties that you need

... click in the roof and follow instructions

Metric template default is set to green. I don't know the reason that color was selected but it has been like that since the dawn of time.
