HI,
Is there anybody who knows or have a method to calculate formwork?
I was thinking about using de paint tool (to differenciate the type of formwork on my ocnstruction) but then I can't hide it..
You could make the paint materials look like bare concrete in Hidden mode, and look different in Shade mode, by changing the color of the material's graphic tab > Shading.
I wrote a blog post describing schedules to calculate foundation insulation, which could be interpolated for formwork surface area at least. A comment added by a reader suggested a technique that was interesting too, using a mass to subtract the surface area of the concrete elements from the mass and arrive at a total surface area.

There is a plugin that can quantify formwork and any other material and you can configure it to follow POMI or any measurement standard.

Is it possible to do Filters by material? In this way I can do a view with a filter formwork (colors) and other without it (grey)..
You assign different BOQ codes to Revit families and types and use calculation formulas for each linkage.
