How to adjust walls underneath staircase?

Hello, I'm very new to Revit and started using it last week. I need help modeling a bathroom underneath a staircase. I saw many video tutorials about editing profiles, but its not quite what I was needing.

I need to cut the tops of these two walls along the slope of the staircase, but with edit profiles, I can only manage to adjust the front face, not the sides of my wall. I'm using Revit 2024 Windows 64-bit.

One option would be to create a floor that matches the bottom of the stair (height and slope), then attach the top of the wall to that floor.

Create a section view, then you can place the Ref Plane.

I did make a section but dont see the option to Reference Plane. When I try another command like Pick a Plane it selects the entire staircase not just the one slope.

I tried doing that as well but I was getting an orange error message about that floor intersecting with my other floors.

In your screenshot, you are using a 3D view but try a section instead.

I wouldn't create a floor for the stair slope. You can edit profile the wall, or place a ref plane under the stair matching the slope and attach top of wall to it.

@ToanDN , Good advice, just as @ralphdenhaan suggested.

I guess I'm too used to working with architects that want curved stair runs:

Reference planes and Edit profile options go out the window then 🙂
