How to add materials/ link the materials from a .dwg model into Revit?

I uploaded a .dwg model that was originally a SketchUp model. I am having a hard time figuring out how to link the materials. It gave me a file with all the jpeg images I am assuming to upload them in the link area. Am I missing something? is there something I need to do to ensure the materials get uploaded with the dwg model- I did not link the model, but imported it.

@kyltew20

The material for linked DWG models are defined under Object Styles >> Imported Objects >> Material (assigned per Layer)
