How to add elements to one design option

Is it at all possible to setup design options so that when I select an element, then press the "add to design option" button, all the options are checked off instead of on?

When I press that button I want the blue highlighted checkboxes to be off by default on ALL the different options. I have 6 options across 3 option sets, it's really annoying to have to click through and un-check everything, every time.

If not possible, is there perhaps a better workflow, I'll describe what's happening:

We have modelled in a full design of a bakery and other food prep areas, on the main model. 2 weeks later the client comes back with a major design change, and we need to re-configure everything. With the nature of our client, we don't want to delete the old layout because they sometimes flip flop on us, and sometimes they don't. This is when we create the design option, and begin moving stuff from the main model into the correct design option.

It's never been a bother to me, but then again, if I a had an extraordinary amount of Options to uncheck, I guess it would be bothersome.   I don't think there a way to make the default unchecked. If there was, that would likely be something controlled via the Revit INI file.

BTW: an alternative would be to Clipboard Cut and Paste directly to the DO.  FWIW.

Cut it from the main model, activate the option and paste aligned in place.

BTW, I'd rather all boxes checked so that I can just go to other options to modify the model.  If I only checked one box and later want to add the elements to other options then it would be much more work.

Huh? That's what I said. Clipboard Cut Paste directly to DO.

Thanks, I guess this is the only alternative.
