How to add a new parameter to a label in Revit sheet family?

Hi

I'm having some problems solving this. I'm currently making a new sheet in Revit and I want to change two labels in the sheet head. The labels are parameters for browser organisation that I have in my project. But they don't appear in the list to choose when I'm editing the sheet family. Is it doable to get these parameters to my sheet family? I'll attach 2 screenshots. First is the sheet head and the second is in my project where I have the parameters.

The Project and Sheet are different and the Sheet is a Family so these Parameters would need to be added into the Family directly you can Add them as Shared Parameter's and find them is in a Set File location.

Set to both Sheet and View

Hi!

Thank you for your answer. But I'm not quite following. When I click on "select" I only get a list. Where do I go from there? The parameters are in my project, not in my family.

If they are User Defined Parameters they will have been created at some point by the person who created the Template and saved in here so once a New Project is started from this Template they are included.

So there will be a Shared Parameter File related to the Template with these Shared Parameters in somewhere possibly, however if you cannot find this you can Export them and use the Exported Parameters Folder

This is a useful guide too!

In Revit, it's common to run into this issue when trying to use project parameters—such as those used for browser organization—in a sheet family. The key limitation here is that project parameters, especially those used purely for browser organization (like sorting and grouping in the Project Browser), are not directly available within the family environment, including title blocks or sheet families. This is why you don't see those parameters in the list when editing the sheet family.
