How do you schedule plan regions?

In a project I needed to remove a floor plan along with its level. Once I had moved all elements contained in the level to other levels, I finally got to erase the level in an elevation and no more warnings.

A yellow message window appeared after erasing though which told me that a plan region had used the level I had just erased as part of its view depth definition. It also asked whether its host level should be used instead. Only I found no way to answer this question.

I undid my deletion and tried to make up a schedule that would show be all plan regions I had so that I could look into the matter. I did not find a way to achieve this.

Perhaps someone has designed a little dynamo script or a macro and is willing to share?

So you are trying to delete plan region? Or all the elements in the levels?

How many Plan Regions do you have that referenced that deleted Level?  The Plan Regions still exist, but now their View Ranges are reset.   For instance, if Level 1 had "Top" set Level 2 + 0'-0" Offset, and Level 2 is 10'-0'' above Level 1, then deleting Level 2 would set that Plan Region "Top" to Level 1 + 10'-0" Offset.

Try this:
- go to the views where the plan regions are and copy clip all plan regions
- delete the level
- paste aligned the plan regions

there were five plan regions that somehow used the level I deleted. In my version of the comment by Revit there were only the arrows active that allowed to read through the same message 5 times. There was no link to a warning nor was there a warning 'attached' to the level while it was still there.

I did not make the plan regions myself but one of my co-workers must have. It is a rather huge enterprise and the persons may not even be involved in the project anymore. Without actually finding the entities it is hard to determine their original author. I manually browsed through all floor plans and rcps that seemed to me to be in vicinity of the surplus level and did not find any. Thus idea to schedule them and use either the highlight in model feature or just list which plan they were contained in.

The Plan Regions' View Range settings are corrected automatically. There's no issues to resolve, if that is what you are thinking.

Automatic is fine - only I would have to be certain that the zero elevation level that was removed was exchanged with an appropriate one. To check, I would still need to find the plan regions.

@barthbradley As you described in message 3, the plan regions would be 'miscorrected' by Revit and the user would have to find another level and offset appropriate for the situation. They do not get broken though.
