All default window families (i.e. single flush, etc.) are meant to go into a straight wall.  They have a built-in Opening object that cuts the host wall.  For a curved wall, you will need to create a curved window such that the radius of the window is parameterized so you can change the curvature to match that of the curved wall.  The opening for the window will most likely need to be a void extrusion that can cut the host wall perpendicular to the face of the wall.
