How do you hide sections marks of a different scale on floor plans ?

The site section marks are set so that they can not be seen at a scale courser than 1/8 scale.  It's supposed to show up only on the 1/8" scale site plan.  However, they seem to appear on the floor plans which are 1/4 scale.  

Have a misunderstood this tool?  How do I make it so that it's hidden in the 1/4" scale floor plans?

Hide when view is coarser than 1/8" .... means hide ONLY WHEN the scale is coarser ... 1/4" is NOT coarser than 1/8" => it shows.

• If you want to hide all sections on or only specific sections? If All sections simply uncheck the visibility of section under Visibility Graphics >> Annotation Categories
• If you want to hide a a couple, put them on a new type >> click one >> Right Click and Select all instances >> Hide in View

Alternatively, you could put the ones you want to hide in a Saved Selection this way you can fetch them easier by loading selection ..

Create a view filter and set criteria such as Scale Value equals to 48.
