How do we create user-defined Color Books?

I'd like to create a Color Book but there's no documentation other than where they're stored. They're all .acb files that seem to be encrypted when opened in Notepad.

How do we create our own color books???

Hi,

Use this link: https://download.autodesk.com/global/acb/index.html. After creating your own Color Book, you can put the .abc file into this folder:

%PROGRAMDATA%\Autodesk\RVT 2024\Colorbooks

Select Accept as Solution and Likes are always welcome.

Using Revit LT 2024, when using a color book created through the online AutoCAD Color Book Editor, the selected color is remembered as an RGB value, instead of remembering the color name. (For example in Wall Type Properties > Course Scale Fill Color.) This is different than using the default included & encrypted color books where the color name is remembered, for example RAL 1000. This means you can't confirm if a color was used from an office standard color book. Example color book attached. (Zipped to allow attachment)
