How do I turn on the true colors for my 3d view in Revit

Hi All!

I'm trying to see the true colors for my revit model. Currently, the 3d model shows up in black and white. Attached screenshot for clarity. Could anyone help me with showing the 3d view in color?

Change display to Realistic 

If you are using phasing ... set to show complete

I would change the shade mode to realistic.

However if your model is built in existing, it will show all grey. So you may want to set your filter to show complete

Also filter can cause your display to show as white. So you want clear the override by selecting all and clear override.

My guess is that someone with a rank of 8, such as yourself, has already checked the View Control Bar.  If the Visual Style is grayed out and inaccessible, then maybe a View Template is in control. Check the View Properties and see if a View Template is assigned to the View. If so, set it to "None" or modify the VT itself. Maybe exclude Visual Styles from it.
