I'm working on a fairly complex roof, and on the main roof the back of the roof is about 4 feet higher than the front of the roof. What I've done is go into the footprint of the roof, click on the side I want elevated, check "Defines Roof Slope," and then I punch in underneath that how much of an offset I want it from the rest of the roof. Problem is that the sides of the roof remain strictly on the original base offset and I need the sides to slope upwards towards the back.
Does anyone have a solution? Its driving me crazy.
Sounds like you want to offset one of the eaves.
..or are you after this? Roof eave by Pick Walls Method with an "Overhang".
Ah! I think you are talking about Align Eaves.
