I am trying to make a curved curtain grid roof which is triangular in plan. I am able to model the shape required with an 'in-place' mass, using reference lines and the spline through points drawing tool. I can then create a form, I can divide the surface into a grid. At this point I try to create a 'Roof by face' selecting the geometry created, and I am unable to complete the roof.
The issue seems to be in the mass geometry, being triangular in plan as I have had no issue creating roofs which are curved and square in plan. I have attached a sketch of the shape I am trying to create, as well as snapshots of the geometry I've created in trying to make this shape.

try Wall by Face. It works better then Roof by Face , that has problems when slope is closed to vertical...

You can use the extrusion roof profile
Then use floor/roof cut and create shape you want to cut out
Then you create another floor/roof cut and cut out the remaining part
Then you should have the shape you wanted.
Thanks for the answer, I couldn't get this method to produce the desired results, but I have round the answer in other comments. Thanks again.
If you want to have a parametric family for this triangular roof with arches on the three sides, and structural tubes around, and nodes of tubes, you will need to do more work than a simple roof by extrusion with a void. If you are interested, this link explains a method (the third method in the handout) that could be adapted to what you need: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6594350110098935808/
