How do I make a curved detail line the same distance from one point?

As shown in the image, I want the dotted curved detail to be the same distance (1400mm) from the nose of the toilet the whole way along the curve. Any advice?

Your wording seems to indicate you want the left one below.  Your picture, however, implies you need a clearance zone around the toilet, which is the right one below.  So I show you both:

- If you want the left then draw the toilet outline curve and offset it.

- If you want the right then draw the arc using

Another approach might be to place a Detail Line, using the Pick Lines method with an Offset, and pick the edge of the toilet.

Yes, spot on champ - the one on the right is what I'm after. Thank you very much.

Any idea how to make the dimension line dotted?

Still using the same tool to complement what was suggested by @ToanDN , you can define the distance of the radius you want. just follow the steps.
