I am creating a family. I named a parameter and when I switched to 3D view, the parameter is shown over my object., What controls the visibility of a parameter in the view? It is not visible in any of my other views (Front, Right, left...etc)
Thanks

You can always change scale to make the dimension smaller.
If that becomes annoying, you can always go to visibility graphics (type VV or VG at keyboard). Go to dimension and turn it off
All you see is 3d without dimension
To not have it over the object, see above it's a good explaination.
Two more things that could help with visibility in the 3d view not mentioned above which you could do, besides changing the view scale or unchecking dimensions under annotation category, is editing the dimension type and adjusting the size/lineweight etc. for example... OR... turning on/off Thin Lines (TL)
Finally to get rid of the parameter alltogether you can delete it in the Family type properties, but I don't suppose that was the intention here. ![]()
