We have our projects on a revit server. Not a shared drive. I need to recover a previous version of a revit file but I can't find out how to do it from a revit server location? The collaborate/ restore backup does not work for a revit server file location. Not any method that I have managed to discover yet anyway....
I can see the backup files and file size, time, etc on the Revit Server Administrator web page but I can't seem to find those files on the revit server or how to restore the file.
Please help.
Hello,
How about using the command-line lock utility to unlock the server for backups. I attached the link so that you could check. I hope it helps you.

I am looking for something similar to the method of recovering backups using restore backup and then navigating to the backup folder and then picking the backup out of a list of backup versions where it was saved and either rolling it back or saving it somewhere. I attached a screenshot (1) of that method. Is there no way to do this with a revit server file? When I go to the revit server administrator webpage (FYI - I didn't set up the revit server, my company IT sets that up and has all of the permissions) I can see a list of backup versions and the file size but I see no way to obtain one of those backups. I have also attached a screenshot (2) of that page showing the backup versions. Can I get one of the revit server backup versions?
