How can I put the 2D plan projection of some chairs under the table 2d plan projection?

Hi everyone.

I have a problem in the plan projection for a simple table and its chairs.

Each element is its own family and has the 3D geometry hidden in the plan view, showing only some detail items as projections in the plan view. However, I don't reach to put the 2d chair projection hidden under the projection of the table. The chairs look as if they were above the table. Both projections have filled regions to hide the space underneath them

In this case, it seems that the bring to front / send to back options are not applicable once in the project.

I have tried inserting the table and the chairs in a different order but it always put the 3d projection of the chairs above.

The only way for now to overcome this problem is to hide the 2d projections and make the 3d model again visible in the plan view, but this is something I want to avoid.

Can anyone throw some help?

Thanks.

Because the chair back is taller than the table. Edit the table family, open an Elevation, draw a vertical model line using invisible line style that is taller than the chair back, then reload to project.
