how can I prevent a roof from cutting a wall pattern?

when I added the roof, where wall is cut by the roof, the wall pattern is cut, or shows no pattern. I need to show a complete pattern for all of the wall.

this is for all of the places where the roof is showing in the floor plan, better yet, how can I remove the roof from the floor plan visibility altogether

as you can see from the screenshots, the roof is cut strangely, not sure that I even need to show it.

You can change your View Range, Cut Plane to be below the roof. Is turning off the roof category in that view not an option?

The floor plan should not show the roof. Or maybe the roof is too low. Only the projection of the overhangs are necessary in the floor plan. Then you show all the roof in the Roof Plan. If necessary, read about these topics: View Range, Overlay.

looks to me like that wall isn't being cut in the view - or it's less than 6 feet high.

Try using a Plan Region to independently control the Cut Plane at the lower wall.
