How can I paint I add paint to my wall types

AidanHawkins_0-1681025953917.png

I have these concrete cast in situ walls I want to add a paint layer to both sides.

I cant add it as a finish because I dont want to give it a thickness

Is there any way off adding it to the wall type without giving it a thickness?

Or how do i go about it

Thanks

if you add this painting as a Finish Layer then it has to have at least 0.8 mm thickness.

If you want no thickness of all , then you can use Membrane Layers . These layers appear as Areas in Material Schedules , but they can not be visualized(they are on the same surface with the outer surface of the beneath Layer ).

Adding a paint layer to concrete walls without altering their thickness can be tricky, but it's doable. One approach is using specialized concrete paint or stains. These are designed to bond with the surface without significantly changing its thickness. Prep work is key – clean the walls thoroughly and consider using a primer for better adhesion.

Another option is consulting with experts at paint shops. They're like gold mines of knowledge! Professionals there might have insights into specific products or techniques ideal for your situation. They could recommend low-profile paints or application methods that won't bulk up the wall.

Remember, achieving a thinner coat might require multiple layers or a specific application process, so patience and precision are your allies here.
