Hello everyone!
I'm new to revit and still learning. Please how can I override the wall plastering to the dinning floor? I've tried modifying it but says ''Cannot extend layer(s) of the highlighted vertically compound wall. Any tips Please?

When unlocking, can you stretch the wall in the project environment?
Under Edit Assembly for the Wall, Preview Section View and then click on Modify and select the Wall Layer (the one that want to independently give a negative Base Extension to) and UNLOCK the Pad Lock. Note: If more than one Layer is Unlocked; those layers must be adjacent to each other (e.g. you cannot have a Locked Layers IN BETWEEN Unlocked Layers).
...I might be misunderstanding you. This is what I'm describing:
Thank you! I think I just got the answer from the link which says ''Note: Layer extension does not work for walls attached to other elements, such as roofs, ceilings, or floors. I wonder if there's a solution to it ![]()
Thanks!

Thanks!
I would lock the layer, make the walls height matching the top of the roof, then attach the walls to the roof. the result: the exterior plaster layer will remain the original height and cover the edge of the roof, the structure of the wall will attach to the bottom of the roof.
Or if you want to keep the layer unlocked, then detach the walls from the roof above and or floor below and manually stretch the layer to the height you want.
Thank you so much! Your idea actually helped me! I had to top Constrain walls to roof level and then created the floor to the DPC level and later walls back to dpc level.
Thank you once again.
