I've come across a modelling problem in Revit regarding curved walls and the placement of windows. In the attached images, the enlarged plan shows that the default window (the window highlighted in red) creates a non-perpendicular angle to the exterior face of the curved wall. This creates a problem when it comes to detailing out the assembly, because there are now weird gaps and angles that don't seem right (see detail).
The "solution" I've come up with so far is to delete the window, create a rectangular wall opening the same dimension as the deleted window, and then essentially draw in a window (the window to the left of the highlighted window in the enlarged plan). The rectangular wall opening cuts the wall perpendicular to the exterior face, which is what I want, but now I essentially have no window (and therefore can't tag it). Another possible solution could be to create a rectangular wall opening and insert a curtain wall, which would allow me to tag the glazed unit (but then I would have to replace all my windows, taking up a lot of time).
My question is this: is there any easier way to place a window so it's perpendicular to the exterior wall face? Can I do something to a window family that will do this for me? There are a lot of exterior windows in this project, and I would prefer to not have to replace each window with a rectangular wall opening.

You can create a non host window family to insert in the opening that you already have.
To answer your bigger question, window families are based on straight wall so when you place them in a curved wall, they are perpendicular to the tangent line of the curve. If the wall is thick and you want the window frame to follow the radiate lines of the curved wall, you need to create a custom window family, sketch the curve wall using reference lines, using void, not opening to cut the wall in a wedge shape, and model the frame and everything else follow the curved reference guide lines.
