Hello, everyone,
I have a problem exporting an IFC file. There are some rooms that do not appear in the Revit program. These rooms are named Coz. Area or prohibition. Area. I have not named any elements with these names. The names are automatically generated by the revit program.
I would delete these rooms if they were showing up within the rooms table, but they are not showing up.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Are you referring to rooms that have been placed and you cant find, or the list the you can pick from when placing a new Room.
Are these rooms coming from the IFC, or are they showing in the IFC after you export from Revit?

if the rooms are not places but showing in a schedule or table. make a room schedule and filter it by Area or Volumn. then set the qualification to Has No Value.
any room that shows up has not been placed and can be deleted from the schedule. this should remove it from the room list.

They are showing n the IFC after I export from Revit. And I didn't put them in my project.
Do you have any filters on your Room Schedule?

I didn't put any filters into the roows schedule. But how can I check if something like this was created? But this file is used by someone else.
do you have any links in your model? could these rooms be coming from them?
see if they show in the schedule now....

I changed the revit language. And I checked the options but it still doesn't show the rooms.
When you go to place a new Room, are those rooms listed in the Room: drop down list in the options bar?
At this point I would probably need the file to look at it. Those are most of the tricks I know to find Rooms/Spaces in a model. would you be able to upload the Revit model for us to look at?

Here is the file mentioned above.
Thank you very much.
Fount it!
in the IFC file it gives you the Element ID. from the manage ribbon you can pick Select by ID and put that number in and find it.
In this case it appears to be referring to an Area that is placed in the model.
i feel bad about not catching that earlier
... .it says right there in your screen capture ( 'COZ, AREA 4: )

But it is correct that they appear with the ifcSpace key after exporting the file.
How do you activate this search by id within revit, please?
Manage ribbon > Select By ID
enter the Element ID
Pick Show or OK. "Show" will sometimes throw an error that there are not good views, but OK will at least find it for you.

I'm sorry, I didn't express myself very well above. It is correct that 'COZ. Area' appears as an ifcSpace key after exporting the file?
Thank you for helping me.
I'm not as familiar with IFC keys as I should be. if you search the IFC for "room" nothing shows up. If I remember correct, IFC refers to all that stuff (Rooms, MEP Spaces, Areas) as "spaces".
