How can I change the level of a room from Site to Level 00?

I accidentally drew all rooms on a site plan instead of level 00 and when I tried to move them the option is greyed out. So I tried copying and pasting and it didn't work either.

I then had a section of building on level 02 instead of 01 and I cut and pasted the entire section and the rooms moved level with no issues.

So I thought that I made a mistake with moving the rooms and tried again but I had the same issue. I tried to recreate the problem and drew a few walls and a wall on level site and then cut and pasted it to level 00 and the room stayed assigned to site. I then tried to create a room on level 02 and then move it to level 01 and the rooms changed to level 01. I then moved the room from 02 to site and then level 00 and they stayed site :s why does it seem to be attached and stuck on level site once it gets assigned that level at some point?

It took me AGES to reassign the rooms from site to 00 manually yesterday.

The options I tried:

  • Created on Level 02, moved to site, moved to level 00, stays site
  • Created on Level 02 to site becomes site
  • Created on Level 01, moved to Level 02, becomes Level 02
  • Created on site, move to Level 00 stays 00

    Thanks

level 02 to site - site.PNGcreated on 01 pasted to 02 - changes to 02.PNGcreated on site pasted to 00 - stays site.PNGlevel 2 to site to level 00 - stays site.PNG

Can you cut the rooms from the site level and 'Paste to Selected Levels'?

Rooms via Room Separation Lines? If so, what about Grouping all the Rooms/Room Separation Lines together and changing the Ref. Level of the Group?

...and then Ungroup.

I think that I found what the issue is. Level Site and Level 00 were at the same height and apparently Revit does not like this?

Create a level 00 view and paste the room from the level site view to it.
