The slope of the roof dont match with the slope made by the purlins. How can I align the roof to the exact same slope so that the roof sits perfectly on top of the purlins?
several ways
Use roof by extrusion. Pick the purlins to draw sketch lines and when u finish the roof give it a base offset = to that of the roof thickness
if you are using footprint adjust its slope to match purlins
instead of roof you can also use a floor and adjust its sub-elements

I've managed it with roof by extrusion. Thank you very much!
Revit need to change the way with adding roofs to let us draw the roof footprint on any workplane we want and that would be much roofs so much better.
That’s what roof by face basically does. You would need a face of a mass though

Based on your image...select the roof and move it straight down until the bottom contacts the purlins.
