Hello,
Could you give me some advice?
How can I add dimensions on Toposurface?
What I want to do are
- Check the length around the Toposurface AND add dimensions.
- Check the separation from building to the Toposurface AND add dimensions.
All of Object Snaps([Manage]>[Snaps]) are checked.
Please excuse my poor English,
If you have any trouble understanding my English, please feel free to ask so I can clarify as best as I can.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,

It seems like you wanting to measure your Property Lines and distance from your building to it. If so, create a Property Line from Massing/Site tab. If you want to measure a sub-region, edit its sketch boundary, select the pink lines and copyclip, then out and paste aligned as model lines and you can measure them.
Thank you so much for your quick response.
I tried right away, and I have some questions.
>create a Property Line from Massing/Site tab.
-How to create property line by toposurface?
It's not available that [Property Line] > [Create by sketching] > [Draw]panel > [Pick Lines].
Are there any good way?
>edit its sketch boundary, select the pink lines and copyclip, then out and paste aligned as model lines
-It's available with Floor object, but I couldn't do it with Toposurface.
I tried this way...
Select toposurface object > [Edit Surface] > Select Boundary Point > [Copy to Clipboard]
then, the error appeared.
I did any mistake?
Property Lines are a separate entity from the topo. A topo can be the entire surface of the Earth and a Property line is the boundary of your Real Estate. You have to draw it from sketch or by distance and bearing (Civil terms).
You cannot copy clip the boundary sketch of a topo because it simply doesn't have one. I said Sub-region.
Ah, well..It cannnot be helped, but I understand Revit's thinking.
Anyway,
I tried it with Sub-region, and Copy&Paste was available.
I use this way and I'll follow Revit's role.
Thank you so much for your kindness!
