Hi Guys,
How is it possible to have the following 2 types of jabs in the same door family?
The Jabs are just simple extrusions nested in the door family.
Is there any way to have a parameter to choose between these 2 types?
Thanks!

You can label them with a Family<type> parameter which will give you the option to pick the relevant type from a drop down menu
Or alternatively nest both into the door family and assign each with a visibility parameter. Say A and B ... set formula for B =not(A)

It does have a flaw I cannot fix though. The first instance has 2 elements, second instance has 4 elements. When I change from the 4 elements back to the 2 elements, it doubles them, is there any way I can avoid this?
Can you attach your family?

If you change the graphics between the 2 types, it's fine. The problem is when adjusting the Jab Width, then you can see it doubles it.
After all, I let it be double, and just constrained both elements, looks the same, so it's fine.
That is because you have placed 2 instances on each side...You can model both columns of the Cold Bridge Free in the same family this way you only need 1 instance at each jamb
However, you can fix what you got now with a simple visibility parameter which switch off the Double Column when you select Cold Bridge ... See revised family and GIF below
