Hovering isnt working on 3d view

hello,

im working on a 3d view a, i can hover over walls and then i can see the selection preview.

the problem is that sometimes the 3d view gets weird and i cant hover over objects and the contour lines of the objects are distorted.

what i'm doing now is that everytime i get this problem, i delete the 3d view and make a new one and it seems to fix it until it happens again, any way to fix this problem? it happens quite often.

thank you

Do you have Cad files linked into the project?

Sometimes if the Origin of a Cad file is too far away ( more than 20 miles) from Revit's internal origin, 3D views can actually get distorted as you are describing.

If so, the fix is to move the Origin in the Cad file closer to Revit's origin.

it might be the problem, but the cad links are hidden by template and i cant change them.

Go to Manage Links>Cad Formats

Here you will see the Cad files and their paths.

Open the Cad files in AutoCad and move the origin to a point closer to your project (such as a corner of the building).

Save and reload the Cad link.

See if your 3D view performance is normal.
