I would add COMMENT parameter and then add the value EXCLUDE. In the filter you would set COMMENT Does not equal EXCLUDE.
What's the criteria to meet to have the row hidden. Filter it out by "Does not Equal".
Sure.
Add Comments parameter. Add EXCLUDE to all wall you want to hide
In the filter, you add in Comments does not equal EXCLUDE
The wall will hide itself.
how i'm going to hide those walls that i cannot type or keyin EXCLUDE in the wall schedule. thank you
Are those wall linked in or in a group? Normally Revit linked you won't be able to enter in information until you edit the link model and type in those value.
they are in model in-place stacked wall and don't want them to see in wall schedule? cannot type exclude in comments in schedule, thanks
do you have any idea? i did that in comments/exclude because they are model in-place as walls and don't want them to see in wall schedule that is the reason i want them to hide. thank you
thank you for your reply but there are 100's of type wall in schedule it will take me time? i tried and i did i add description fields and type EXCLUDE and set the filter to description = does no equal = EXCLUDE and i think it worked able to hide them, but not sure if this the correct approach. thanks you
Stackwall is an abnormality since it is consist of host wall. You are pretty much stuck and can't use the comments. However if you tab it, you can select the sub-element of the wall
Enable the structure and you can define structural to another category not used by your structural consultant
In your filter, you add Structural Usage and set to does not equal to Structural combined
My suggestion in the future is to use wall footing as your alternative
