Hide curtain wall profile

Hello all, I am trying to hide the curtain wall profile where the glass intersects. I read this article below but it does not solve the issue. If I hide the curtain wall profile to make it white, it appears in Revit as I want, but when I print, the white line shows and hides the edges of the details.

See attached

Any solution?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated as always!

How about turn off Cut pattern of the mullion in that view?

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried it but it still does not work. I did the view override and checked the "Visible" in the cut pattern and I also tried the element specific way. Still shows up when I print.

Any other suggestions?

Is that detail perhaps a cad detail that has been inserted in the family?  If so, set is visibility to only show in fine detail views, or give it a visibility parameter.

@Anonymous

Those are either:

  • 2D DWG details nested into the Mullion family or a
  • 2D DWG imported into a Detail Family which is in turn nested into the Mullion Family

Usually they are set to be visible when Graphic display is set to Fine... For an additional layer of visibility options you can do either/or of the following:

  1. add a visibility parameter to them
  2. add the DWG or the Detail Item to a subcategory which can be switched off for certain views

Hello all, thank you for the suggestions.

I just ended up adding a mask on the cad detail, so when I import it into the profile it hides the profile line where I need it to.

Thank you all for the suggestions.
