I am trying to hide 'Vertical' Slab Edge Lines that should not be seen when in Hidden Line Mode.
I am working with Revit LT 2022, which shouldn't be too much different from the full version of Revit for this matter.
I have added the recommended [HiddenSlabEdge=none] line to the Revit.ini file. (This does not hide it)
MAIN ISSUE: I cannot select the line to change it to invisible.
This has not been a problem in the past version of Revit LT. So I think something software deep in the system has changed.
Visual Style: Hidden Line Mode
Detail Level: Course
Show Hidden Lines: All
Discipline: Structure
All line styles are set to Solid.
I know I probably am working outside my discipline of Architecture, but we like to model slab edges so the sections can be cut more easily without the reliance on too many detail elements.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Is there a picture?
I don't have Revit right now but my guess is that you cannot apply linework to hidden lines generated by view's Discipline hidden lines.
Are you saying that you can't select the Slab Edge in Wireframe View?
...has the slab edge linework been overridden with the Linework Tool? That would have hierarchy.
The "portion" of the element revealed by showing hidden lines (example: highlighted below) cannot be selected/picked by the Linework tool. Not at my end at least. What the linework tool picks are the edges of the element/component
You will need to share some images for a clearer picture if you are looking for a workaround
