The part of the cabinet at the orange arrow in the sketch below should be in section, but the sink family is cutting off the top of a piece of panel when I place the sink in the countertop. I can see a line (highlighted below in yellow) where the cutline occurs when I select the family. I can't see anything however that corresponds to this line when I go into the family or its nested component. How do you reveal hidden items in families?
It is the void from the sink cutting off the skirt panel. Edit the sink family and adjust the void shape and size.
The only void I can find is in the nested lavatory bowl family, and it is above where the interference is taking place.
I can't find a void in the main family.
The void you see is to cut the bowl itself. There must be another void to cut the hole in the host.
Sometimes the Voids cannot be seen in Family Editor because they Overlap each other. Try hovering over extrusions with mouse without clicking it, to see if it "pops up".. or maybe try selecting "Empty Space" near the extrusion with mouse from right-to-left.
