HELP! Revit Properties panel MISSING

HELP! I have a project due tomorrow and I accidentally clicked the X on the properties panel in Revit and that was the biggest mistake of my life! I have spent 2 hours trying to get it back...

I have tried View > User Interface > PROPERTIES IS CHECKED but it is still not showing up 

I have also tried right clicking on the main screen and making sure properties is checked.... it's still not showing up

Next, I tried UNINSTALLING and REINSTALLING Revit (this is Revit 2022 btw)...took about an hour of my time, and the properties panel is still not showing up

Also, it's not hidden behind any panels...my professor suggested that, but I have moved, minimized, and closed all my other tabs. Properties is not behind any of them. 

So please don't suggest any of those typical/easy answers, because I have tried all of them. 

This is my first semester using Revit, and also my first semester using a Windows computer (ASUS Zenbook Flip15), so I am new to it all.

I was reading some forums that said to go to some APPDATA% thing on my computer, and try renaming one of the files or something... but I was like wth does any of that mean lol 

Please help, my project is due tomorrow and my professor is no help in the emails she has sent back to me...she just keeps suggesting the things I've already tried from Youtube and Google

I found this Autodesk link that has a couple solutions:

When it says %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit {Product Name} you need to replace {Product Name} with the version of Revit you're using (2022 for example) then open your File Explorer and type that into the address bar at the top. The file being referenced should be in that folder.

Are you using multiple monitors? Turning all but 1 of them off could cause the missing window to appear if it's been moved off screen.

Can you find the Project Browser in this Screenshot? It's there.

If you've checked your display properties and they're at 100%, you have no extra monitors, and your properties or project browser panel is still not displaying even if it is checked in the User Interface- 

*If you are still able to see one display and just not the other (project browser or properties panel) *

Dock it on the left-hand side by dragging it over the left edge of the Revit screen until there is a blue outline of where the panel will be placed. Then, after it is docked, hover your mouse over the right edge of the display that is docked until the double headed arrow is displayed and you are able to expand the panel to the right. Drag and expand the display across the screen and you should eventually be able to see the properties panel come out of the left-hand side of the screen. you can then detach it from the project browser and redock it on the left-hand side where it can be visible.

This may not be the same result for everyone having this issue. However, I had the same experience listed above, uninstalling and reinstalling Revit with the same occurrence and the internet was no help for me. I was eventually just playing around and ended up getting it back doing the steps listed above.

We had something similar happen, and after some troubleshooting, we determined it had something to do with autohide on the Windows taskbar. It was isolated to one computer, but for whatever reason, the autohide would cause the Revit properties palette to go missing. Toggling the autohide feature on/off might help as well.

I'm having the same issue, and have tried all of the proposed solutions. There is another page I've seen where I'm supposed to download a file and run it, but the page doesn't actually give a link. Banging my head against a wall here...

Using dual monitors at one time?  If so, it's probably on the other monitor. Reactivate dual monitors and drag the Properties Pallet over and dock it.

I physically unplugged any additional monitors, opened my normal windows laptop settings, went to System> Display> Scale & Layout, and temporarily changed it from 250% to 100%. This finally allowed me to see the floating properties panel that was lost and drag it back to the center. Then I was able to switch my Scale & Layout back to the recommended 250%. Best of luck
