Help making a support beam?

Hello,

I'm working on my thesis project and was given a Revit file for the building, but all of the structural elements were made as generic models. I'm trying to go through and replace them with actual structural material, but not sure how to recreate this style of beam? Screenshot below:

The simplest method would just to use In-Place model and draw the shape in a front on view as an extrusion.

if you and to go down the Beam family route I would suggest searching the Content Library in Revit for a Concrete Precast Beam hopefully there may be one if a similar shape if not edit the Rectangular Conrete Beam and use this as a starting point as all the parameters are already in place

Are you referring to that rectangular element with flared ends.  Look like a wall to me. You can Edit the Profile of Walls to that shape.
