Help creating Interior Partition Walls

Hi guys:

Could someone help me, to make my walls to look like those in the right side of the picture?

I tried but after I inserted the lumber columns, I cannot select it, as a wall anymore

Not like the left one. That looks to me, as two gypsum plates; filled with liquid wood.

You really don't need to model the stud core wall, but if you want to, model that wall with a curtain wall.

Ah! I think I see what you are asking. Create Parts from the Basic Wall and then Exclude the core stud layer.
