it could be your internet connection? or you can try this and see if helps. thanks
1)Open the Control Panel. Click on Programs (if you use View by: Category) and then Default Programs or Default Programs (if you use View by: Small icons or Large icons)
2)Then select “Associate a file type or protocol with a program”.
3)Scroll-down and choose the .html element and click on Change program (top right-hand)
4)Choose one of your internet browsers (Example: Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc…)
5)Try to search for something in Revit again.
If the "buffering wheel" keeps running inside your Revit window, the system firewall could be blocking Revit's internet access.
If the "buffering wheel" keeps running on your web browser, could be due to an Autodesk's server temporal issue, a browser extension that is avoiding content loading, lack local internet access, etc.
Meanwhile, you can find Revit Help Documentation on the following links:

Stand up and step away from the computer very, very slowly. Keep your hands at your side and don't make any sudden movements. When you are at a safe distance - outside of the blast zone -- call 911.
We're rooting for you.
I didn't have the exact options you mentioned, but I did a reset as one of the options and this fixed it.
Thanks, have a great day!
