Hey!
First of all - I'm new to Revit so while helping me, please keep in mind that I might not understand some more advanced terms, thanks!
I've created a building on an architectural template, I've assigned rooms to it.
Then according to the guide I found on YouTube, I've created a new mechanical template and imported the building into it using link revit. I've proceeded to assign spaces and zones, but here I realize a problem.
The ground floor spaces have a green line around them, while the first floor ones are red. At that point I realize there's also furniture missing from the first floor (both floors are identical for the sake of this project). I had 5 floor plans set in the original file, now, to my surprise I only have two. Checking in elevations I found out they're also placed at some random heights. I've tried to proceed with the heating and cooling loads analysis anyway as revit didn't warn me despite the red lines I mentioned above. There's an error message under the "Details" tab in "Heating and cooling loads" applied to every single space on the first floor that says: "Space is not upper bounded by a roof, ceiling or floor element. This can result in incorrect adjacencies and voids in the analytical model. Please ensure that Upper Limit and Limit Offset for Space is set correctly".
Judging by the above sentence I assume that the main issue lays in the 'link revit' messing up.
I'd highly appreciate any sort of assistance with the issue, or perhaps I should ignore the warnings as the zones seem alright on the 3D preview?
I've attached a .pdf with screenshots below to help you understand the problem.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Pawel
They are all room bounding already in the architectural template file. The thing is, in the mechanical template due to floor plans not transferring over properly I can't set the Upper Limit and Limit Offset properties because the "Ceiling" floor plan and so on doesn't exist (I tried setting them up manually, they're even more messed up then)
