HBim schedule

Hi everyone,
I'm doing a thesis on Revit in historic buildings and I need help.
I made the 3D model, and now I have to identify cracks and stains of humidity, so after placing a decal on the wall I used the split face tool to cut out, for example, a crack and then apply a texture through the paint tool.

I need to identify these areas within the abacus to be able to compute them(for example their area and the host wall). Is there a way to uniquely identify them?
Or is there a better way to proceed?

Interesting. You can use Split face and Paint different areas with different materials. Or create Parts from the Wall and use split parts to do the same thing, but with more flexibility. You can create material take off schedules from either methods.
