Hatch through entire floor plan

There is a hatch pattern on my entire floor plan. It is only on the lower (main) level plan. It cannot be selected and I have not been able to figure out what it is or how to remove it. The floor has not been created yet so it's not related to that. Has anyone else ran into this?

Check to see if you have any External Files linked/Loaded such as a dwg.

Insert Tab > Manage Links

Also check you Selection Settings

I was able to select the element by face and remove it. It was a filled region. I tried several methods to select it but select element by face is the only one that worked. Thank you for your help!

So the Selection Tool was the key to solving it?

FYI if you Hover you cursor over the edge of a wall you can use Tab to Cycle through the elements that may where that edge!
