We use a Solid Gray Hatch (with no masking) in Wireframe and we just started noticing a problem in Revit 2020 with that hatch covering everything underneath it when we printed even though it looked correct on the screen. We switched to Hidden Line for our Model Display Style and it would mask on screen but would print correctly but now some of our slab edges are missing when we print that aren't even under a hatch. Suggestions please!!
Not following. The Masking Region - a 2D element - would obscure model - 3D - elements in the Hidden View. Is this not the case?
...also, are you saying that what you see is not what you get? In other words, the View Displays more than what's printed?
that's part of the problem, yes. I would like to know that what I'm seeing on screen is what's going to print.
It might be related to a small change in Filled region behavior that I think happened in 2020. There is a setting for "Masking" in the type properties of the filled region. Try clearing the "Masking" property to see if it resolves the issue.
yeah we noticed the change and made sure that our hatch was not masking but were still having the same problem
