Hi I've attached the following screen shots of a stair that won't comply!
If someone can help me... I've googled and to no avail....
I've tried on the inside, the middle and the outside of the stringer, which I believe would be the host.
Each way, I end with the same result, as can be seen in my screen shots.
I now have the attached, the rail is now on the stair as required.
Problem is that is I also have a handrail in front of the door!
In addition I seem to missing the extension on both sides of the stair, it occurs only on one side!
Gotta love these stairs!! ![]()
Please see the attached. he horizontal mid span of the stair, isn't horizontal. How can this be corrected? rails missing at the end of the stair mid rail missing at the top....
I had NO idea that this process was to be so difficult.
Thank you for you help..
PS: when adding a rail to the stair, I've been using Place on Host, which provides a rail all around the stair: both sides and in front of the door. when I use sketch path on either stringer..... the railing goes horizontal!

It normally isn't difficult. It might take some finessing though. Can you post the rvt?
Am done!
Post finessing... it worked out!
