Grouping Structural Family

When grouping structural columns a very long grouping box is created. I am lost as to what the association may be. I edited the family to be a generic model and the issue was resolved - just looking for a good answer! Hopefully the short video (+audio) is clear. Thank you!

The culprit has been identified, the solution has not.

The issue appears to be an analytical line/nodes that are generated when placed. Not sure how to disassociate the analytical model from the physical (I am using Revit Architecture)

Can't replicate.  It even turned on all Analytical categories.  Why would your Analytical model not be at the same location as the its physical counterpart?

I have no idea - In the pic below there is a HSS (left) that shows the analytical model nicely attached to the physical but the corner guard family (right) is way off screen...

Does this rebar have anything to do with it? How do I change this?

It must have had something to do with the Column Location Mark @ 92' etc...
