Grid lines disappearing in duplicate view

Hi all

I have a puzzling issue with Revit.  When I duplicate (with detailing) an elevation view the grid lines disappear.  I have looked at everything I can think of which might effect their visibly (crop regions, scope boxes, V/Gs, extents, filters, worksets, view templates) but no joy.  Any suggestions would be most welcome.

was the source view created with an elevation marker or section cut? To verify, after duplicating, the same view template is applied? and what version of Revit (always helpful as answer may vary)

Hi @lauri_barnhart @ctm_mka

Thank you both for coming back to me and apologies @ctm_mka I thought I'd responded to your message but it didn't get through.

I have since worked out the issue which was that the gridlines didn't extend far enough to intersect the new elevation (I presume they did when the original view was generated but were since shortened - its a collaborative model so various people have been working on it).  Thanks again for getting involved.
